As it has been mentioned, the writing of the screenplay to WOMD occurred in an almost non-stop ten-day flow – from original conception- to completed screenplay… The story unfolded and every detail seemed to fall into place… Curiously enough, a major conspiracy theory was written into the story – without either partner realizing that they were promoting it… that is the “Repitilian Agenda” or the Cult of the Illuminati (as described by author David Ickes) which proposes that there is an ancient race of lizard-people who are intent on taking over the Earth.

In its simplest form, this theory may be described as follows:

For the past several hundred years, a “royal lineage” has been in control of the Earth’s major governments. This ruling bloodline includes the monarchs of Europe and the presidents of America, including our present George W. Bush. Furhtermore, this ruling bloodline is in fact a combination of both human ancestry and a reptilian breed that has controlled the planet and its people for centuries with the eventual goal of enslaving the human population in order to rule the surface of the Earth.

So, WOMD joins the short, but distinguished list of films, books and entertainment media that expose this lethal threat to the Planet Earth and human beings which populate it. Films like John Carpenter’s THEY LIVE and THE MATRIX, books like Philip K. Dick’s TIME OUT OF JOINT , and TV shows such as V, all express the similar concerns about reptilian lifeforms infiltrating the human population to control and eventually dominate the earth.
